Lead UX Designer

ADP

You’ve probably heard of ADP—maybe even spotted their logo on your paycheck. Founded in the 1950s, the company has been a cornerstone of the global economy for decades.

I joined ADP in 2022 to lead UX design for the modernization of our service technology products. These internal tools are relied on daily by over 60,000 service representatives worldwide. The role gives me the opportunity to simplify and enhance people’s workdays at a massive scale.

March 2022 – Present

Design leadership in a large organization.

As a Lead UX Designer in a complex organization, I ensure we solve problems with our users’ needs at the forefront. My work spans strategy, facilitation, and hands-on design.

More specifically, I…

  • Collaborating across teams to spark the right conversations and align stakeholders.
  • Leading meetings, demos, and design-thinking sessions to drive clarity and momentum.
  • Deep-diving into research to illuminate problem spaces and opportunities.
  • Shaping and pitching ideas that influence the product roadmap.
  • Coaching teammates on leveraging new tools, processes, and UX best practices.
  • Mentoring designers and engineers to strengthen our collective craft.
  • Demonstrating the business impact of great UX to leadership.
  • Getting my hands dirty to create user flows, service maps, wireframes, mockups, and other deliverables that bring ideas to life.
